Thank you for visiting our website, our virtual design gallery showcasing exquisite Italian Mid Century Modern Design and one-of-a-kind furnishings. This website is owned by CGS Group Inc, a New York Incorporated company. Throughout the site, the terms ‘we’, ‘us’, and ‘our’ refer to Designitalia (CGS Group, Inc). The company has imported Italian modern furniture into the USA since 1988 acting as a liaison between the biggest Italian furniture brands and USA furniture dealers. Some of our past clients’ names included B&B Italia, Maxaalto, Arflex, and others. 

Please read the below terms that are used to govern our site. If you do not agree with the terms, do not use this site in any way. Additionally, CGS Group Inc reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notification. Site users must agree and abide by these changes accordingly. PRICES AND TERMS

All orders constitute a final sale and require payment in full. All accounts shall be paid upon receipt when invoiced. Orders must be paid in full, including if applicable, storage fees, taxes, freight, shipping charges, and service charges prior to shipping. Checks are to be made out to CGS Group Inc. Credit cards accepted by MasterCard, Discover & Visa may be subject to a credit card fee of 3,5%.

TAXES

All taxes of any nature whatsoever now or hereafter levied by a governmental authority, whether federal, state, or local, both directly or indirectly, upon the sale or transportation of any goods covered hereby shall be paid and borne by Buyer if a resale tax certificate is NOT provided. For all orders delivered to New York State, Sales taxes will be added to the sale order except when a valid New York State sales tax resale certificate form is provided. A New York State sales tax resale certificate form will be provided and must be filled out and returned to process any sale of CGS Group, Inc. 

CONDITION OF ITEMS

Our carefully selected Italian Mid Century furniture collection comprises a variety of vintage pieces unless otherwise stated. Some of our upholstery products are newly upholstered with fabric or leather. When an item is sold in vintage condition or when it has undergone restoration it will be noted in the product item details page. Vintage items most likely will show signs of age and wear consistent with use. When possible, we try to preserve all the original hardware including the original keys, locks, and brass and we try to maintain the integrity of the original piece consistent with the vision of the original designer and manufacturer. All of the products from this website and sold by CGS Group Inc ‘Designitalia’ will be sold under the “as is” and “where is” policy and the condition of each item will be defined as “vintage condition consistent with age and use”.  The products featured on this website have been represented to the best of our ability through photography, dimensions, and any other descriptions that have been provided. If you have any questions or concerns about a piece and its condition, please contact us for additional photos and details prior to purchase.

There is no warranty offered on the products featured on this website, including products referred to as “vintage”, “refinished”,“newly upholstered”, “restored” and “reupholstered” items.

CGS Group Inc promotes its business through Social Media. User comments on our social media pages maintained by CGS Group Inc will become the property of CGS Group Inc. If an image or comment is posted through any social media website, including any image accompanied by a hashtag, referencing CGS Group Inc or any of its sister companies, you are hereby granting access to CGS Group Inc a worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid, non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable and fully license without additional consideration to you or any third party, to store, reproduce, distribute, perform, and display (publicly or otherwise), create derivative works of, adapt, modify and otherwise use and exploit such photos, in any format or media now known or hereafter developed, in connection with CGS Group Inc’s business.
